I go on holiday, enjoy the good life and get places by flying. But there is something about our consumption that is so lazy so impractical and ultimatlely fragile. Below is an animation showing a preview of some objects, a air conditioner, a swimming pool, a lilo, a botte of water a magazine. I guess I could sum it up as Fiji water being shipped thousands of miles because it is pure, like Fiji is in some vacuum. The biggest irony being this desire for 'pure', probably plays a massive part in tainting everything.
I created this animation in Maya and I enjoyed making it very much, though it's a really time consuming process and I could not get over the internal conflict of what was I making? Did it need narrative, flow or could observing objects in simulations of their actions be ok on it's own.
